Tissue in your breast has multiplied.
The breast is made up of fatty tissue, connective tissue and the mammary gland. Milk is produced in the mammary gland during and after pregnancy so that the child can be fed.

You may be able to feel lumps in your breast. Your breast may also be painful, or your nipple may leak fluid. You may also have no symptoms at all.
