N64.5: Other signs and symptoms in breast

You are experiencing symptoms in your breast.

The breast is made up of fatty tissue, connective tissue and the mammary gland. Milk is produced in the mammary gland during and after pregnancy so that the child can be fed.

Fluid may be discharged from your breast. There may also be a growth in connective tissue in your breast. If there is a growth in connective tissue, parts of your breast may become more compact or harden. Your nipple may also retract into your breast. The nipple may become smaller as a result. There are many different causes for these symptoms in your breast.
