N94.0: Mittelschmerz

You have pain associated with ovulation.

The eggs mature in your ovaries in the first half of the monthly cycle. Ovulation takes place approximately in the middle of a cycle between two menstruations. At ovulation a mature egg cell leaves the ovary. The egg cell can then be fertilized. The egg cell can later develop into a child. Ovulation is controlled by sex hormones.

The pain associated with ovulation can occur in the lower abdomen. It may also radiate to the back or thigh.
