N99.10: Urethral stricture, recurrent, after previous surgery on a urethral stricture

Your urethra has again become constricted, after you previously had surgery on this type of constriction.

When you have to pass water, the urine flows from the bladder via the urethra and out.

You have had a constriction of the urethra in the past. Surgery can be done to correct this type of constriction. After this type of surgery your urethra has become constricted again.

If your urethra is narrow, you may not be able to urinate properly. For example, the flow of urine may be very weak. You may feel the urge to urinate very often, particularly at night-time. The urinary passages may also become inflamed as a result of the constricted urethra.
