P00.7: Fetus and newborn affected by other medical procedures on mother, not elsewhere classified

While in the womb, medical measures being taken on the mother caused damage to health.

Sometimes the mother needs certain medical interventions during pregnancy. These include X ray examinations, for example. An X ray examination produces images of the inside of the body. To do this, X rays are sent through the body. These rays can damage the child's health. The child may then not grow normally in the womb, for example. The child may also have deformities. The child may develop more slowly than other children of the same age.

  • R: Right
  • B: Both sides
