P08.2: Post-term infant, not heavy for gestational age

The birth took place more than 2 weeks after the expected delivery date.

The weeks of pregnancy of most commonly counted from the day of the last period. A pregnancy usually lasts about 40 weeks.

If a pregnancy lasts longer than 42 weeks, the child is sometimes no longer adequately supplied with nutrients. After the birth this can be seen from wrinkled, flaky skin or a lack of fatty padding, for example.

Additional indicator
