Q50.4: Embryonic cyst of fallopian tube
Due to a defect, a cavity has formed in one or both fallopian tubes.
If tissue fails to develop properly, defects can occur. The defect originates while developing in the womb.
The two fallopian tubes go to the right and left of the ovaries towards the womb. They are like tubes and they transport the egg cells from the ovaries to the uterus.
A cavity in the fallopian tube is usually filled with fluid. The cavity can cause pain. If the cavity is very large, the ovary may become twisted. This can cause sudden, very sharp abdominal pains.
