Q70.1: Webbed fingers

Some of your fingers are fused together by the skin. This condition is congenital, which means you were born with it.

When fingers are fused together by the skin, then the skin between the fingers is also referred to as webbing. It may be that only 2 fingers are fused together by the skin. However, it is also possible for several fingers to be fused together that way.

Fingers that are fused together can be hereditary. This means that other family members may also be affected.
