You are missing one or more of your fingers on one or both hands. This condition is congenital, which means you were born with it.
The hands and fingers develop in the first few weeks of pregnancy. This development can be disturbed for various reasons. This may be the case with certain congenital diseases. Taking certain medication during pregnancy can also adversely affect the development of the hands and fingers.
