Q71.9: Reduction defect of upper limb, unspecified

One or both of your arms have not developed properly. As a result, you have a congenital condition.

The arms develop in the first few weeks of pregnancy. This development can be disturbed for various reasons. This may be the case with certain congenital diseases. For example, taking certain medication during pregnancy can result in a child’s arm or parts of the child’s arm not developing properly.
