S05.7: Avulsion of eye
An injury has left you blind in your eye.
Your eye has been torn away from the optic nerve as a result of the injury. The optic nerve connects the eye to the brain. The optic nerve contains nerve cells. These nerve cells take the images from the retina, in the eye, to the brain. When the optic nerve is torn off, you can no longer see with that eye.
