S62.8: Fracture of other and unspecified parts of wrist and hand

You have broken bones in your hand.

The hand is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. Immediately after the forearm is the carpus. Then comes the metacarpus and then the individual fingers.

When you have broken bones, you can have pain, for example. You may then no longer be able to move your hand properly.
