T18.0: Foreign body in mouth
You have one or more foreign bodies in your mouth.
The mouth is coated with mucous membrane. A mucous membrane is a moist skin.
If someone has foreign bodies in their mouth, there can be various symptoms. Foreign bodies can damage the mucous membrane, for example. It can then bleed. The affected area can also be painful. If a foreign body remains in the affected area for a long time, inflammation can occur.
