T18.2: Foreign body in stomach
You have one or more foreign bodies in your stomach.
Various organs are required for digesting food. Digestive organs include the mouth, the esophagus and the stomach. The digestive organs are coated with a mucous membrane. A mucous membrane is a moist skin.
If someone has foreign bodies in their stomach, there can be various symptoms. Foreign bodies can damage the mucous membrane, for example. It can then bleed. The affected area can also be painful. If a foreign body remains in the affected area for a long time, inflammation can occur.
