T25.7: Chemical burn of third degree of ankle and foot

You have a chemical burn on your ankle or foot.

It may also be that only a toe or toenail is affected. A chemical burn involves tissue being damaged by chemical substances such as acids or alkaline solutions.

The skin in the affected areas may be completely dead. The tissue below the skin may also be damaged. If nerves in a specific location are badly damaged, it will no longer be possible to feel pain there.
