T40.7: Poisoning: Cannabis (derivatives)

You have cannabis poisoning.

Cannabis is the scientific name for the hemp plant. Cannabis contains a variety of active agents. The main active ingredient in cannabis is THC. The drugs marijuana and hashish come from parts of the hemp plant.

A substance can cause poisoning if, for example, too much of it is taken. The substance may also be administered or taken by mistake.

Cannabis poisoning can cause nausea or vomiting, for example. The eyes may be reddened. Your heart may beat more quickly. You can get anxiety or panic attacks. You may see or hear things that are not there.
