T46.7: Poisoning: Peripheral vasodilators
You have been poisoned by a drug that dilates blood vessels.
A drug can cause poisoning if, for example, too much of it is taken. The drug may also be administered or taken by mistake.
There are different drugs that dilate blood vessels. These are used, for example, to improve blood flow or reduce blood pressure. Poisoning with medications that dilate vessels can cause blood pressure to become very low. You may experience dizziness or headache. It can also cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.
