T51.0: Toxic effect: Ethanol

You have too much alcohol in your body. As a result, your body has been poisoned.

There are many different alcohols. These have different properties and are toxic in certain amounts.

You have poisoned yourself with the usual alcohol that is also drinkable. One uses such alcohol also at home or in industry for cleaning, for example.

If you have too much alcohol in your body you may have different symptoms. It depends on how much of the substance is in the body and for how long the substance has been in the body. Severe illness is also possible. For example, you may feel nauseated or vomit. You may also have trouble speaking. Or you may move differently than normal. This includes not being able to walk normally, for example.
