T62.0: Toxic effect: Ingested mushrooms
You have been poisoned by fungi.
You have eaten fungi that are toxic or contaminated with toxins. Depending on which toxin is involved, there can be various symptoms.
After consuming poisonous fungi, nausea and vomiting can occur, for example. Poisonous fungi can damage the kidneys or liver. Hallucinations can occur. You then perceive things that are not really there. Poisonous fungi can make the heart beat faster or slower than usual. Toxins from fungi can also impair the nervous system. Then you can become light-headed.
