T85.52: Mechanical complication of prosthetic devices, implants or grafts in lower gastrointestinal tract

Foreign material in the digestive organs has caused problems for you.

You have replacement tissue, a tube or other artificial material in your lower digestive organs. Various organs are required for digesting food. The upper digestive organs are the mouth, oesophagus, stomach and the first segment of the intestines. The liver, along with the gallbladder and the pancreas, also form part of the upper digestive organs. The lower digestive organs are the rest of the intestine and the anus.

The treatment has caused you problems or damage. The artificial material may no longer be in the right place, for example. The surrounding tissue may then get damaged.
