T85.53: Mechanical complication of prosthetic devices, implants or grafts in biliary tract
Foreign material in the bile ducts has caused problems for you.
You have replacement tissue, a tube or other artificial material in your bile ducts. Bile is produced in the liver. The bile is transported via bile ducts within the liver towards the gallbladder. The bile is collected in the gallbladder. When you eat something, bile is released into the intestine. This is what the common bile duct to the intestine is for.
The treatment has caused you problems or damage. The artificial material may no longer be in the right place, for example. The surrounding tissue may then get damaged.
