T86.50: Circulatory disorder following skin graft

You had issue grafted. This tissue is now damaged.

You had skin grafted. Skin is sometimes grafted when, for example, someone has a large wound or has had tissue removed. Sometimes, along with the skin, the underlying fatty tissue, connective tissue or muscle tissue is also grafted.

In your case, the grafted tissue is not properly supplied with blood. Blood supplies tissue with oxygen and nutrients. If the tissue fails to get enough blood, it can become damaged. The grafted tissue may then look pale, for example. The grafted tissue may also not ‘take’ properly or it can loosen.
