Z01.5: Diagnostic skin and sensitization tests
You had a skin test or an allergy test.
With an allergy, the immune system overreacts to certain substances. Such substances may be harmless substances in the environment, drugs or certain chemicals, for example. An allergy test can be used to test which substances the immune system is overreacting to. To do this, the relevant substances can be applied to the skin, for example. A check takes place to see, for example, whether the skin at that site turns itchy or red. Other disorders can also be investigated via skin tests.
