Z01.80: Investigation of a disposition for malignant cardiac arrhythmias

You were tested because you may have an elevated risk of heartbeat disorders.

The heart pumps blood through the body. In the process, the blood flows through blood vessels. The blood supplies all areas of the body with oxygen and nutrients. The heart normally beats steadily and at a particular speed.

If the heartbeat suffers a pathological change, the heart may no longer pump the blood well. A severe heartbeat disorder can be life-threatening. Certain factors can increase the risk of severe heartbeat disorders. These factors include, for example, illnesses and a hereditary tendency.
