You use contraceptive drugs and that is why you had a medical examination or consultation.

The purpose of contraceptive drugs is to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. There are various drugs that can be used for this purpose. Medical examinations serve to monitor the effect and potential side-effects of these drugs. In the course of the examination or consultation, a new prescription can also be issued for the drugs.
