Z31.0: Tuboplasty or vasoplasty after previous sterilization
You have had treatment intended to reverse sterilization.
You have been sterilized in the past. Sterilization involves the woman’s fallopian tubes being blocked or sealed or a man’s tubes for carrying sperm being cut or sealed in a surgical procedure.
The two fallopian tubes go to the right and left of the ovaries towards the womb. They are like tubes and they transport the egg cells from the ovaries to the uterus.
The spermatic duct transports the sperm from the testicles to the urethra. The sperm emerge via the urethra. There is one spermatic duct on each side.
Sterilization is intended to prevent a woman getting pregnant naturally and a man being able to father children.
You were to have the sterilization reversed.
