Your ureter has been supported by a small tube.
The ureter is a thin, muscular tube in the abdomen. There is usually one ureter on each side. The urine flows from the kidney, via the ureter, to the bladder. When you have to pass water, the urine flows from the bladder via the urethra and out.
A thin, synthetic tube was inserted through your urethra. The tube was pushed through your bladder to your ureter. A small tube was then inserted into your ureter in order to keep the ureter open.
