Your fibula has been re-stabilized using aids.
There are 2 bones in the lower leg, the tibia and the fibula. The tibia is on the inside of the leg. The fibula is on the outside of the leg. Both bones in the lower leg have an upper, middle and lower section.
The upper section of your fibula has been stabilized with a long pin inside the bone.
The purpose of the long pin is to stabilize the fibula from within. To do this, the pin is inserted into the bone.
