OPS-Code 8-401.5:

Skeletal traction: Traction using Kirschner wires: Finger traction splint

A broken bone in one or more of your fingers was treated.

For this purpose, a special wire was inserted into the bone. A clamp was attached to the wire. This allows tension to be applied to the bone pieces. This is to make the bone pieces be realigned correctly and also immobilized. A plaster splint was also attached to your fingers.
