A catheter has been used to treat your coronary arteries.

A catheter is a thin tube. This tube is inserted into a blood vessel in the groin or arm. The tube is then pushed onward to the heart. At the tip of the tube there are small instruments that can be used to treat the heart or the vessels. The heart muscle is supplied with oxygen-rich blood via the coronary arteries. The coronary arteries are blood vessels that run around the outside of the heart.

A catheter can be used to widen coronary vessels that have narrowed. Various procedures may be employed to do this. A certain drug has been used to widen one of your coronary arteries.
