8-83d.5:

Therapeutic intravascular catheterization and cannulation: Other percutaneous transluminal angioplasty of heart and coronary arteries: Implementation of flow-reducing braided wire into coronary sinus

A catheter has been used to treat your coronary arteries.

A catheter is a thin tube. This tube is inserted into a blood vessel in the groin or arm. The tube is then pushed onward to the heart. At the tip of the tube there are small instruments that can be used to treat the heart or the vessels. The heart muscle is supplied with oxygen-rich blood via the coronary arteries. The coronary arteries are blood vessels that run around the outside of the heart.

The blood from the coronary arteries flows through a collecting blood vessel back into the heart again. You have had a wire mesh implanted in this collecting blood vessel. This makes the blood flow more slowly from the coronary arteries. Your heart muscle should get a better blood supply as a result.
