You have been looked after by medical personnel who are specially trained for the needs of the incurably ill.

When an illness is incurable, the symptoms can still be treated. This includes providing relief for pain, breathlessness and nausea. Mental issues such as anxiety and depression can also be mitigated. You have been given treatment by specially trained personnel. Loved ones are often involved in the treatment.

Additional indicator

If necessary, additional letters are appended to OPS codes to indicate which side of the body is affected.
