Your stomach or your intestines have been attacked by pathogens, causing inflammation.
Gastroenteritis can cause various symptoms. You often feel nauseated and have abdominal pain. You may vomit and have diarrhea. You can feel very feeble. Sometimes you may also catch a fever.
Gastroenteritis is caused by certain viruses. These viruses are called noroviruses. Noroviruses are highly infectious.
