You have spotted fever.

Spotted fever is caused by bacteria. The bacteria are spread by mites. Mites are tiny, spider-like creatures. Infected mites can come from rats or mice. You can become infected by having contact with such creatures. The disease occurs in Asia and Australia.

With spotted fever, you may have a high fever and be severely ill. You may then also become confused or pass out. Pink spots can occur on the skin. Later the spots can darken and turn into tangible pustules. Your lungs can also get inflamed. Lung inflammation can be accompanied by coughing or chest pain. Spotted fever can also be accompanied by swollen lymph nodes.
