B05.0: Measles complicated by encephalitis
You have measles. The measles have also spread to your brain.
Measles are caused by viruses. With the measles, red and slightly raised spots form all over the body. You can cough, sneeze and have a sore throat. You may also get a high fever. Your eyes may sometimes be red and watery.
Your brain has been inflamed by measles. If the brain is inflamed, this can cause various symptoms. You can lose consciousness and get attacks of cramp. You may behave and think differently. You may sometimes no longer be able to control your own movements.
