B05.2: Measles complicated by pneumonia
You have measles. The measles have also spread to your lungs.
Measles are caused by viruses. With the measles, red and slightly raised spots form all over the body. You can cough, sneeze and have a sore throat. You may also get a high fever. Your eyes may sometimes be red and watery.
Your lungs have been inflamed by measles. If the lungs are inflamed, this can cause various symptoms. You get a cough and high temperature, for example. You can also find it hard to breathe and feel very sick.
