B34.3: Parvovirus infection, unspecified site

You have a disease that is caused by viruses.

There are various kinds of viruses. You have been infected with parvoviruses.

Parvoviruses cause, for example, skin rashes, particularly on the arms, legs and face. The joints or bowel sometimes also become inflamed. If pregnant women are infected by a parvovirus, the unborn child can become seriously ill or even die. Parvoviruses are usually transmitted person-to-person, for example by coughing or sneezing.
