B38.1: Chronic pulmonary coccidioidomycosis

You have a lung inflammation caused by certain fungi.

In America these fungi occur in the ground in dry regions. You can become infected by breathing in dust that contains germs. Sandstorms, in particular, increase this risk.

Your lungs have been inflamed for a considerable time. When the lungs are inflamed you can have a cough or breathing problems.
