B48.0: Lobomycosis

You have been infected by certain fungi. This has caused changes in your skin.

In your case the fungi have settled in your skin and also in the tissue underneath. This can happen if you have a wound in your skin. At the affected places, the changed skin can become thicker and larger. A lump may also form in your skin.

The fungi are particularly found in the rainforest in Central and South America.
