B74.3: Loiasis
You have been infected by certain threadworms. These threadworms have caused you to have filariasis.
The threadworms are transmitted by mosquitoes. Filariasis disease mainly occurs in Africa.
If the threadworms spread through the body, itchy swellings may appear beneath the skin, for example. They usually vanish after a few days, and then reappear in other places.
