Your blood is clotting too quickly. Blood clots can also form more easily as a result.
Blood clotting is controlled by many different proteins in the blood. If there are too few of these proteins present, blood clotting can be disrupted.
You lack a protein that inhibits blood clotting. As a result, your blood is clotting too quickly. Blood clots can therefore form more easily in your blood. This condition is congenital, which means you were born with it.
