F02.1: Dementia in Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease

You have been infected by Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. As a result, you have dementia.

You have been infected by a pathogen that damages the brain in particular. These pathogens are certain proteins. These proteins are being deposited in your brain and damaging it. This disease is called Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.

The brain is vital for thinking, remembering and moving. For this purpose, there are many nerve cells in the brain. If these nerve cells are damaged, the brain is no longer able to carry out those functions so well. The memory may get worse. Sometimes one can no longer move, speak or concentrate so well. One may also feel very depressed. These are symptoms of the dementia.
