You have become intoxicated through alcohol.
You are intoxicated because you have consumed alcohol. This results in an altered state of consciousness. Intoxication can alter things like your perception, mood and behavior. Alcohol intoxication may make you aggressive and stand or walk unsteadily. You may also lose consciousness, for example.
