F15.5: Mental and behavioural disorders due to use of other stimulants, including caffeine Psychotic disorder
You have mental problems due to stimulants.
Stimulants are substances that have a stimulating effect on the body. Caffeine is one such substance, for example. Things like coffee contain caffeine. But amphetamines are also stimulants. They are found in some medicines or drugs. Amphetamines include, for example, crystal meth and MDMA. Ecstasy may contain MDMA.
Consumption of stimulants has caused you to have mental problems. One’s own senses can be deceived. For example, you might see things that are not really there. You may also interpret your own reality incorrectly, and your own mood might change.
