You have withdrawal symptoms from one or more substances. The withdrawal alters your state of consciousness.

You are consuming one or more substances that affect your thinking, feelings or perception.

Before withdrawal the person has usually consumed too much of the substances over a long period of time. When someone goes through withdrawal, they have various physical symptoms, because they are consuming fewer or no substances.

The withdrawal also alters your state of consciousness. For example, your awareness and memory may alter. One may also no longer know who or where one is.
