F44.1: Dissociative fugue

Suddenly and unexpectedly, you have left your usual environment and you cannot properly remember doing so.

For example you then suddenly and unexpectedly go on a journey or run away. When this happens, the person may think they are someone else. Later they cannot recall, or fully recall, doing so.

This condition can occur after a very stressful event, for example. In this condition, the person can feel spaced out. They may do things they would not otherwise do, or perceive their environment differently.
