F44.81: Multiple personality
Parts of your personality have become separated.
This may be caused by great stress, for example, or by severe mental damage. You can then possess two split personalities or more.
The various split personalities can appear in the foreground alternately. When one split personality is in the foreground, it determines your thoughts and behaviors.
Additional indicator
On medical documents, the ICD code is often appended by letters that indicate the diagnostic certainty or the affected side of the body.
