F55.2: Abuse of non-dependence-producing substances: Analgesics
You want painkillers very badly. You are damaging your health as a result.
You are taking drugs intended to help against pain. Maybe you were prescribed these drugs to begin with. Now you do not actually need the drugs any more. But you are taking the painkillers nevertheless. Physical harm can be caused by taking them. These drugs can damage the kidneys, for example. When an attempt is made to dissuade someone from taking painkillers, the advice is usually rejected.
