F60.31: Emotionally unstable personality disorder: Borderline

You have a personality disorder. With this, your mood is usually unpredictable.

Everyone has personal characteristics that are deeply rooted. The personality involves certain patterns: how one things, feels and behaves. Personal characteristic patterns can exist that can cause problems in one’s work and social environment. This usually happens when behavioral patterns and thought patterns differ greatly from those of the majority of the population.

Your personality has changed. You may act surprisingly and disregard consequences. Your mood can swing dramatically. One may also feel unsure of oneself. One often tries to form very close relationships quickly. But the relationships do not last. One may also keep behaving in such a way that one is hurt or injured. Or one may threaten to harm oneself. One may also have a persistent feeling of emptiness inside.
