F64.0: Transsexualism
You do not feel that you belong to your physical gender.
When a person does not feel that they belong to their physical gender, they can feel that they are in the wrong body.
A person can be born with a female body and feel male. A person can be born with a male body and feel female. Some people do not feel they belong either to the female or male gender.
The need may arise to live, and be recognized, as a member of the other sex. They may also want to have gender reassignment treatment.
